SVG files from May 9th to current on my blog are formatted for a 12×12 cutting mat.  For objects like the fish svg or soccer ball sizing does not matter much.  You can size it for your needs when you import it into SCAL. For word books and layered items it is very important to size each piece correctly.  In situations where you need to have layers or word book pages evenly sized change your import library setting to 12 inches before importing the svg into SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot).  Please see the picture below for a screen shot.  (click on the picture for a super-size image if it is hard to see)

The ability to be able to size things correctly in SCAL is AWESOME.  This has saved me from pulling my hair out.  I love making things in inkscape but it was such a pain to size them in SCAL.  I got the svg file and information on how to do it from a yahoo groups member Kay.  You can read about it and also get the file from her blog.
