I just downloaded the most recent update to the Sure Cuts A Lot v2 software and have been playing around with it.  It is so cool so I did a little video on it.

You have to watch this Youtube video that shows how to make glitter balls.  I tried it today and LOVE it!

I used Mop & Glo instead of the Future as shown in the video.  It worked perfect.  I cut the names out in white vinyl on my cricut using Sure Cuts A lot.

Here are the pictures.  I got the ornaments at Michaels on sale 50% off.  I got these with a little bit of the pearl glaze on them and they still turned out very pretty.

I have had several people ask me about cutting vinyl on the cricut so I thought that I would do a little video tutorial.  I also show how to use transfer tape or contact paper to place your design on the location of your choice.  If you want information on where I purchase my vinyl, please click here to review a previous post.

I love creating word books.  They are very popular right now.  I have received lots of request from readers that want to know what to do with the svg files and how to cut them in SCAL.  Here is a short video on how to import svg files in to SCAL and also save them as SCUT files so they can be cut later.

I have had a lot of request for this, so here it is.

I have received a lot of request from readers who want to know how to separate the layers in a SVG so that they can be cut in SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) so I created this little video.

I have several word book cut files available on my blog for download.  I have used the rectangle from George and Basic Shapes cartridge for a few of the books.  I received several request from people that love the word books and want to cut them but don’t own George.  I put together this little video on how you can easily make a change to the book so that you can cut the file if you have the font cartridge being used and another cartridge with a rectangle or square on it.

I bought the Life is a Beach cartridge earlier this week from Michael’s for $39.99.  I love, love, LOVE light houses.  This cartridge has a cute one.  Here is a little video on what I worked on tonight.  It is my first video…. so go easy on me.

Here is a three part tutorial on how to create  a word book in Cricut Design Studio.  It is all silent, no verbal instructions. 

This is a Princess Word Book using only Storybook Cricut Cartridge.   This biggest tip that I can give in making a wordbook is to copy and paste your square so it will line up correctly each time and start your letters with the Shadow size.  When it comes time to make your Shadow letters you use the base font.  It makes all the difference in the world and makes shadowing so easy.
